Broadleaf Weed Control Season Is Here

As we venture into the fall season, approaching the winter months the temperatures are becoming cool enough for herbicide applications to begin. Applications may be safely made from the months of October through March in the south Florida region.  With the excess of heavy rainfall we have seen throughout this spring and summer seasons, most  lawns are experiencing more weed growth than normal.  For these particular lawn ,  I suggest two initial applications (Nov & Dec), followed by an evaluation to determine if additional applications are needed.
